So, over the past 2 months, I've been trying my damn hardest drilling as much vocabulary and kanji (漢字) into my head as possible, but now I've finally realized there's no way I can ever know ENOUGH kanji before my placement test. I glanced over a list of kanji elementary kids should know (教育漢字) by the time they pass grade 6 and I must say, I feel rather hopeless at the moment, lol. I guess it's better than not learning any new vocab and kanji at all. In the meantime, I have no idea what I'm going to do. I need to meet up with my friend so we can practice speaking to each other... Otherwise we're both screwed when we land in Japan. LOL
Oh, by the way, lately I've been asking a few people what they want from Japan. I can try my best to pick up something while I'm over there. Feel free to leave your name and what you want in the comments section. If you just want something random from Japan, just drop a name and list what you DON'T want. =) That's all for now.
dear vannie, dennis and I just got back to HK from osaka last night. Japan was a lot of fun, you are going to love it. =) you are so lucky you get to spend a year there. anyways We miss you a lotttt and don't worry about the kenji, i am sure you know most of them, and its funny coz you know how to read all the symbols but not all the kenji and i am the exact opposite coz kenji is the only thing that i can read. you should take me with you =) so we can figure things out together lol. mmm... cant wait to see you and vi and ray n.
ReplyDeleteEh?! When will you be back? =) Doesn't school start on Monday for you? and LOL! You'd might as well learn the Japanese characters too. You can then travel around Japan no problem without me! =) Harhar!
