A week post.... Good luck to me

I now have 1 week of posting to do. ;-;

Saturday 27 November (Japan Time)

I am going to destroy the previous layout and just type about the highlights, lol. Just for this week.

So today I went to Alex's house for dinner. John, Abdy, Ken joined us for dinner. Alex made this interesting dish which is relatively easy to make. I shall make it once I get back home. It's pretty much pickles, hard boiled eggs and corn. =) Simple yet damn good. I bought salad rolls with me, lol. The sauce sort of spilled on the train but that's okay, it was wrapped in plastic wrap. =) So yea, everyone enjoyed it. =) Alex's little apartment is rather nice and cozy. I thought it would be cramped with old furniture but it was actually rather nice. I enjoyed the stay. We also played a few random games... It's sort of like the alphabet game but not really... The first person starts by saying a word (noun) and the next person needs to say a word starting with the last letter of the previous word, lol. It was fun. =) Abdy kept on losing. We then played spin the bottle and ask questions, etc. I had to spoil the party early because I had to take the train home. The train is about 15 minutes away from Alex's house. We left the house at around 11:00PM. I arrived in time for the train. =) I got home at around 12:10AM, lol. I did not take any pictures because I forgot my camera. (Go figure)

Sunday 28 November (Japan Time)

John, Lisa and I were supposed attend a concert of some sort in Susukino but yea, we could not find the place, lol. Instead, we decided to wander around Sapporo looking for restaurant. =) It was 7PM and we were all starving, lol. We first walked into this one restaurant Christine recommended but yea, we needed to make a reservation beforehand so we could not eat at the restaurant. We browsed the entire building looking for a restaurant but yea, no luck. We left the place and tried to look for closest beef rice bowl place but ended up walking around in circles, lol. We finally decided to visit Bookoff (a second hand store which sells books and other commodities) there we met Kent, lol. I asked him where the closest one was and it turns out the closest one was close to where the previous restaurant was, lol. We felt dumb.. But anyhow, there were two beef rice places side by side, lol. We decided to go to the less busier one because we were too hungry to even care which one was better, lol. There I took a picture of a billboard because she looks like a friend of mine in Calgary, lol! Jenny Szeto.

Hello Dear Jenny
Anyhow, we drifted towards Sapporo station. But before that, we decided to swing by the Christmas Market and there we met Kota, lol. The half German half Japanese boy from Germany, lol. Christine and I ran off to look at other things... We bumped into the Russian girl with the red outfit and it turns out she studied at the same University we are in now, 5 years ago... Lol. I'm sure that made her feel old, but anyhow... we ended up eating some awesome ice cream in Sapporo Station... =) Happy happy. Then we went to the Loft but John had to leave so yea, I was with Christine and Lisa. We left the store at 9PM because the malls close at 9, lol. We all went home and yea, I studed for my Kanji test then went to bed

Monday 29 November (Japan Time)

So yes, the usual day. I went back to the Christmas Market today because I actually wanted to do some shopping, lol. I spent a bit more time at every stand. A thorough inspection... as one might say, lol. I bought a little Christmas charm from Kota's stand and yea, we ended up talking lol. It turns out he also came to Sapporo two months ago. He will also stay in Sapporo for a year but not for school, lol. For work. He can speak German, Japanese and English. He can speak Japanese well but his English is much, much better. He's studied English for 6~7 years? Lol. He started in Junior high and yea, he's still studying it now. His father is Japanese and his mom is German, lol. (Which explains why he can speak Japanese) We exchanged numbers and after that... I went to the beef rice bowl place and ate a big bowl of satisfying fatty beef and rice, lol. I went home afterward and studied for my test. I also took more pictures of the Christmas Market.

Tuesday 30 November (Japan Time)

Lol, omg... I am more than a week underposting now. Crap, lol. Okay, here it goes.

I didn't do anything today but I will post comments. =)

So yea, the hard copy of our report was supposed to be due on Friday but none of us could hand it in because the computers were down in the international center. The people who wrote their report by hand could hand them in but the also got an extension (It was only fair). Abdy said he didn't even write his report yet and Angela said she could not print hers off. So yea, today... she gives me a copy of her survey and asks me to fill it out... (wtf) she took advantage of the situation on friday and lied, lol. Dirty little girl. But anyhow, I was slightly upset because I stayed up until 5AM on Friday to finish that report.

Wednesday 1 December (Japan Time)

Studied and prepped for the presentation on Friday.

Thursday 2 December (Japan Time)

I was woken up today at 6:44AM today by an earthquake! Omg omg! I was waiting for a big one to hit and it finally came, lol! I felt a nudge and first thought I woke up from one of those random muscle twitches bit it kept on shaking, lol! Ahh... It was totally a Love Wave. (Quite literally) =) I was pretty much swooning side to side. Other than that, I have a funny picture to post, lol.

The teacher wrote it.

It says, 「アブディさんを食べたいといっても。。。」

Lol, it pretty much says, "Even though I want to eat Abdy..." Yea, we were rambling on about cannibalism jokes, lol. It sort of carried through to making "Canadian", "American", "Russian" cuisine. If you know what I mean... But yea, lol. Other than that, I went straight home and cooked, edited my report, wrote a speech and then went straight to bed. (at 2AM)

Friday 3 December (Japan Time)

Gosh, I woke up at 9AM today. I am supposed to meet Dinara and Beth at 9, lol... So yea, I called Dinara and told her I will be going by myself, lol. I showered got dressed and flew out of my room at around 9:20AM. I decided to take the JR today because I thought I could catch the bus that I usually take... But yea, it was a big miscalculation. I ended up missing the train.. waiting until 9:55 then got to the station I was supposed to get off at 10:25. Class starts at 10:40, walking takes 20 minutes, lol. It just so happened that today was also a rainy and windy day too. I ended breaking my second umbrella, lol! I got went... and yea, it was not pretty. I dashed to the University and got there at around 10:35AM, lol. I was soaked... and I had to print out my new report. The computers in the international center are slow so yea, when I was done printing, it was 10:47AM. I arrived at class at around 10:50, lol. The teacher was not impressed.

Anyhow, presentation day! I ended up reading a lot of the stuff that I typed for my presentation (bad, I know. I didn't a chance to practice it though) The teacher told is it should be around 5 to 10 minutes but yea, mine turned out to be 15. (Woops, lol) I was told by John that I should have cut stuff out because he thought it was insignificant but if he followed, he would realize that everything that I presented was relevant. Anyhow, aside from my frustrations with him, everything else was fine. We ended up going to a little concert at the University and I took a few photos.

Christine and Anastasia (The other Russia girl)
My second "tutor" whom I have not talked to for a month, lol.
I saw a similar snowman at the Loft, lol.
Quite an interesting crew

We went to the mall, ate ice cream, etc... Then wandered the streets. It was raining and I did not want to do anything. After we went to book off, I decided to go home... But in stead, I stopped by the Christmas Market. I hung out with Kota (The German Japanese guy) for an hour. He invited me to attend a little event but I refused because I was exhausted, lol. Anyhow, I went home then went to bed immediately. I was exhausted.

Oh yea, it was raining today. The weather is rather strange... It'll snow one day then rain a few days later... then snow, lol.

Saturday 4 December (Japan Time)

I tutored today, lol. The weather was crap and cold. I arrived at Christine's host parents house at around 4PM when I was supposed to meet up with the guy at 3. I ended up missing my train so I was late, lol. while tutoring, I also snacked on some cinnamon buns and a ham/cheese filled bun. It was all quite delicious indeed. We talked for an hour then I went home to buy groceries and do laundry. I also studied a bit because this week we are tested on two chapters.

I more or less caught up, lol... Posting will stabilize after this week is over. Silly "short" tests.
